5 Simple Design Build Steps....
The Castillo Housing Design Build process saves time, money, and frustration by integrating budgetary considerations at the beginning of the design process. Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Initial meeting and proposal.
Within two weeks of meeting with our design team, preliminary design and construction budgets are established and a timeline for progression is presented.
Step 2: Professional Design Agreement.
Once we have your authorization to proceed, the design, working drawings, and final budget work commences.
Step 3: Detailed Proposal
Following the previously established timeline, preliminary construction documents are presented and a budget review is conducted. It is at this critical stage that the decision is made to move forward with the completion of the construction drawings based on the previously established budget or the decision is made to alter the budget and / or design.
Step 4: Revisions and Construction Contract
Client changes are integrated into the final plans and scope of work. The contract is signed, project schedule finalized, and a start date is set.
Step 5: Pre-construction review
All plans and specifications are carefully reviewed and signed to minimize changes, delays, and most importantly additional costs. A color session is schedule with our design consultant for the selection of all finishes. Castillo Housing will work to maximize the value of your custom home and or remodeling project while considering costs, which leads to an efficient and successful projects.
